DMV Real ID & Enhanced Licensing Process

Come to the Library for DMV's Real ID and Enhanced Licensing process. First come, first serve, no appointment required.

Requirements

1. A valid U.S. passport or a certified birth certificate

2. Your social security card.

3. Proof of NY Residency (Two Documents such as Utility bills, Bank statements, Pay stubs, Lease agreements or Mortgage statements

DMV will accept certain electronic documents such as a utility bill, a credit card statement, or a pay stub if they are printed. Documents with a P.O. Box listed cannot be accepted.

Additionally, any documents issued more than one year before your office visit will not be accepted.
